The Fox Of Leafmould Parva by Lily Hunter and Mab West

An intelligent popular Fox finds himself obliged to move house owing to a building development happening in his field. Having recently inherited a fine dwelling called Earth Manor in the parish of Leafmould Parva, with the help of friends (a Goat and a Badger), he loads all his belongings onto a cart and leaves. The animals already living in Leafmould Parva have never had a fox among them, and when they get news of the imminent arrival of this one they panic. They decide to refuse to talk to him in the belief that when he finds he can not make any friends he will go away.
