Mr Pepys's Navy by L. A. Wilcox

Wilcox's drawings are superb and his analysis of this important period for the English navy is very perceptive. The book is particularly interesting for the period after Pepys ceases to write his Diary and Wilcox documents his important contribution to the rebuilding of the Navy after he left imprisonment in the Tower. An excellent Glossery and a chart giving data on each ship mentioned in the text. This 1966 South Brunswick Hardback is in very good condition. DJ.
