Bretheren Pioneers of Singapore by Bethesda Church Bukit Arang

This collection of short biographies resulted from a series of talks given by the authors who have personally known these pioneers. Stemming from their personal perspective, they have penned these narrations. The talks were first given to the Adult Bible Class as Bethesda Church, By. Arang in 2005 - 2006 to meet a pressing need of the younger generation of members, many of whom had little or vague notions about how the Bretheren movement began in Singapore from the early years. Nor do they know much about those whom God had called to serve Him in the beginning. As the older generation of members with personal and intimate contact with and knowledge of these pioneers advanced in age, the possibility of the losing of their recollection and reminiscence of their recounting interesting and challenging stories may also be lost. Hence this collection serves the purpose of passing on the legacy of the paths these pioneers traversed in the Lord's work to both the younger and older generation to inspire and challenge them to continue to build up the church and maintain stability and continuity of the faith once delivered to the saints. This 2007 Adult Education Committee Paperback is in very good condition.
