I'm OK Apocalypse Aotearoa by Noel Shepherd

Mike Evans lives quietly by himself on an isolated back-country farm in the North Island of New Zealand. After an especially violent storm, he slowly becomes aware that there has been a breakdown of civil society in what to him is the outside world. This novella looks at the possibility of extreme climate change and what the consequences might be. Noel Shepherd lives deep in the bush in the Whanganui District, in a location similar to that depicted in the book. He has worked at a variety of jobs: teaching, possum trapping, farming, and many more. He is now retired and has taken up writing as a hobby. This is his second published work of medium-length fiction.
