In addition there is an extensive section detailing the basics of good cooking: how to stock your pantry; what gear you need; how to chop properly; and how to plate your food. This is terrific information for every home cook. The photography is outstanding and includes a wide range of incidental stills photography from the making of the show, showing all the contestants and judges in action and on location. Plus there is superb food photography from renowned food photographer Aaron McLean, with beautiful shots of every recipe featured.
