Through The Seasons At Massey University is a guided tour of the gardens at Massey University looking at the rare, unusual, and beautiful plants in the grounds. Dave Bull was in charge of the Massey campus grounds from 1970 till his retirement in 2007 and was always on the prowl for that unusual or rare specimen. In the book each photo has a caption given botanical name, common name, family , country of origin and a brief description of the plant. Most books trying to do what Dave has done have much more text causing the eyes to glaze over, whereas the photos and small amount of text keeps one wide awake with wonder.
