A Souvenir Programme from Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953, illustrated throughout in black and white with photographs of the Monarch and Royal Family, a foreword by the then Duke of Gloucester, notes on the Queen by Arthur Bryant, Dermott Morrah and others, details of the Coronation Procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, State Procession from Westminster Abbey to the Palace, maps of the route, short essay on the Coronation Ceremony, another on the Coronation Service by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, the Form and Order of the Coronation and genealogical table etc. This 1953 Stapled is in fair condition. Owner's Name inside. Previous owner's name written in pen on the inside front cover, dated 1978. Cover has tanned and generally aged. There is a small graze in the top-right hand corner of the front cover, and two small stains. The back cover has a noticable brown marking. Staples have begun to rust lightly. Pages appear in good shape.
