There have been many books devoted to gynaeologic pathology but most have concentrated on anatomic pathology. The goal of this text is to provide a clinical pathology view for obstetrics and gynaecology. Continuing medical progress has taken the clinician away from the time where practically all physicians were comfortable with urinalysis, gram staining, etc. Though the physician does not actually perform many of the tests, it is still necessary for him/her to know about the testing and be able to interact with laboratory personnel in the hospital. This book will provide lab information to the obstetrics and gynaecological team and clinical information to the lab personnel, ultimately leading to better patient care. This 1994 Blackwell Scientific Paperback is in fair condition.
