Andrew Osmond was a full-time writer and journalist and one of the founder members of Private Eye. Prior to that he had been an officer with the Gurkhas and a diplomat. He wrote four books with Douglas Hurd. Andrew Osmond died in 1999. Douglas Richard Hurd, Baron Hurd of Westwell, CH, CBE, PC (born 8 March 1930) is a British Conservative Party politician who served in the governments of Margaret Thatcher and John Major from 1979 to 1995. Hurd is also a writer of political thrillers and several non-fiction works. This 1982 Hodder & Stoughton General Division Hardback is in very good condition.
