Both books were published by the British society-watcher magazine Harpers & Queen, for whom Peter York was Style Editor and 'was responsible for identifying the cult phenomena of 'Sloane Rangers' and 'Foodies'. This diary is the guide to the Sloane's year, for the Sloane about town and country, detailing and listing the essential Sloane cultural and social events to attend.
